Snapper’s Brass & Gas is a brass car touring region of the AACA uninhibited by geographic boundaries. The club was founded August 19, 1993 in the Snappers Saloon on the banks of the Ohio River in Ripley, Ohio. Club activities are restricted to cars manufactured before 1916.
Snapper’s is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and enjoyment of Brass Era Automobiles. The club’s activities emphasize the enjoyment of old tyme automobile touring away from the hustle and bustle of our modern lives in some of the most beautiful parts of the United States and Canada.
The club presents five events annually to include the: Spring Tour, frequently a progressive tour of significant distance; Summer Tour, a family oriented hub tour providing fun and frolic for all ages, Frosty Tour, a 3 to 5 day late fall tour, a 2-day Hershey Hangover Tour following the AACA annual fall meet was added in 2013, and an Annual Business Meeting held in late winter or early spring in a large city somewhere. We also cosponsor the Run to Lansing in September.
Membership is over 300 families in thirty-three states, Canada and New Zealand. Annual dues are $10.
